Paper Title: Critical Closing Pressure Measured in Stroke Patients with Diffuse Correlation Spectroscopy and Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound. Kuan-Cheng Wu, Parisa Farzam, Faheem Sheriff, Parya Y. Farzam, Sarah L. Michaud, Andrew D. Monk, Mohammad Ali Aziz-Sultan, Nirav Patel, Henrikas Vaitkevicius, and Maria Angela Franceschini Presenting Author: Kuan Cheng Wu

Abstract

Critical Closing Pressure (CrCP) is a non-invasive approach to estimate intracranial pressure. In 15 stroke patients, we found a strong correlation (R2 = 0.7) between CrCP derived from Diffuse Correlation Spectroscopy and from Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound

Paper Title: Interrogation of sample dynamics using interferometric diffuse correlation spectroscopy. Mitchell B. Robinson, Stefan A. Carp, Davide Tamborini, David A. Boas, and Maria Angela Franceschini Presenting Author: Mitchell Robinson

Abstract

Diffuse correlation spectroscopy (DCS) is a technique that has traditionally required low noise, single photo counting detectors. By utilizing an interferometric approach, we show that these hardware conditions can be relaxed.

Paper Title:Superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors for Diffuse Correlation Spectroscopy. Davide Tamborini, Vikas Anant, Boris A. Korzh, Matthew D. Shaw, Stefan A. Carp, and Maria Angela Franceschini Presenting Author: Maria Angela Franceschini

Abstract

We present the benefits of using superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors to improve the performance of diffuse correlation spectroscopy measurements, thanks to their high detection efficiency and precise timing response.
