I am currently an Assistant in Biomedical Engineering at Massachusetts General Hospital, and an Instructor at Harvard Medical School, Radiology. My primary research interest is to understand how the brain works in health and disease. My ultimate academic goal is to understand how thoughts affect our reality, particularly our health. Throughout my career, I have gained expertise in mathematical modeling of biological systems and functional brain imaging (fNIRS, fMRI, EEG). Currently, my primary focus is on functional Near-InfraRed Spectroscopy method and translating it to clinical applications and disseminating its use in basic neuroscience research.
