Research Technician Positions
Spring 2024
One NIH-funded Research Technician position is open in Dr. Franceschini’s group, located at the A. A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. We are looking for a post-bachelor or post-master student interested in clinical research, monitoring of patients in critical care settings, use of near-infrared spectroscopy methods, and co-registration with other physiology and neuroimaging technologies.

Postdoctoral Fellow Positions
Fall 2024
One DOD SBIR-funded postdoctoral position is open in Dr. Franceschini group, located at the A. A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, to conduct non invasive human studies aiming a validating our sponsor optical device.
We are seeking highly motivated researchers with a desire to begin an independent career related to or involving biomedical diffuse optical imaging applications. The successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, medical physics, computer science, or equivalent degree. However, we will consider exceptional candidates of any scientific background.

Students
The Center offers opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students in engineering, physics, neuroscience and biological sciences to conduct research in a multidisciplinary environment.
Research areas include fNIRS, DCS, SCOS, OCT, and microscopy. Research projects span the spectrum from basic biological research, the development of cutting edge technologies, and early stage clinical studies. Based on the research interest students should contact the appropriate Optics faculty member.
